Obituary: Mrs. Ethel B. Rau, aged 88, of 307 High St., Middleville, passed away Tuesday evening, Nov. 24, 1981.  She is survived by her husband, Henry B. Rau; her children, Peggy Cline of Middleville, Paula Hillman of Jacksonville, FL., Shirley and George Wierenga of Grand Rapids, Dale and Roberta Rau of Hastings; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.  Preceding her in death was a daughter, Arlene Adams and a son, David Rau.  Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel, Pastor Paul S. Howell officiating.  Interment Parmelee Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Hastings.  The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at the Beeler Funeral Home, Middleville, (there will be no afternoon visiting hours Thanksgiving day).
